Generation Next: How AI-Native Agents Are Rewriting Real Estate
87% of real estate leaders say they use AI. The next generation of agents was raised on it. Here is what that means for your brokerage.

Industry surveys consistently put AI adoption among real estate leaders north of 85%. What the surveys miss is the bigger story: a new wave of agents who have never known a workflow without it. They do not ask whether the CRM has AI. They ask why it does not have more.
What AI-native agents expect
- A mobile-first workspace that works as well as the consumer apps they use all day.
- Automation that handles the repetitive 80% so they can focus on the human 20%.
- Transparency: clear, explainable AI suggestions they can stand behind with a client.
- Speed: anything that takes more than two clicks is a deal-breaker.
What this means for brokerages
Recruiting is now a technology decision. The brokerages winning the best new agents are the ones who can show, in a 20-minute demo, that their stack will not get in the agent's way. The ones still selling on commission split alone are watching their pipelines age.
How to retool without breaking what works
Start with the agent-facing experience. A modern website, a CRM that actually gets used, and AI assistance baked into the day-to-day. Back-office changes can wait. Agents quit because the front-end is painful long before they quit because of accounting.
